About LottoHeat
LottoHeat is an independent site made in Puerto Rico. It publishes results for Powerball, Mega Millions, Millionaire for Life and Puerto Rico's Pega 2, Pega 3, Pega 4, Loto Cash, Revancha and Traditional Lottery, with easy-to-read statistics: which numbers come up most, which come up least, and which have gone the longest without being drawn.
Where the results come from
- Powerball, Mega Millions and Millionaire for Life: the New York State Gaming Commission's open data, with history back to 2010. Estimated jackpots come from powerball.com and megamillions.com.
- Puerto Rico games: the results the Puerto Rico Electronic Lottery publishes for Pega 2, 3 and 4, Loto Cash and Revancha, and the prize list of every Traditional Lottery drawing, with history back to 2018.
We check every source each hour, so a result shows up here within an hour of its drawing. If a source stops updating, we get an alert and look into it. The official results are always the lottery's own: check your ticket with them before cashing it.
How the statistics work
- Hot: the numbers drawn most often in recent drawings. We look at the last 50 drawings by default, and you can choose more or fewer.
- Cold: the numbers drawn least often over the same period.
- Overdue: the numbers that have gone the most drawings without coming up.
- Pega: for Pega 3 and Pega 4 we count each digit in any position and also each position on its own (first digit, second…). Pega 2 also counts the whole number, 00 to 99. For the Traditional Lottery we track how winning tickets end.
- Numbers of the day: a random combination weighted toward hot numbers. It changes every day.
What these numbers can't do
Every drawing is independent: the balls don't remember what came up before. A hot number is no more likely to come up next time, and an overdue number isn't "due". The statistics show what already happened, which is interesting and handy for picking numbers you like, but no combination is more likely to win than any other. Only play what you can afford to lose.

If gambling is causing you money, family or work problems, get help. In the U.S., call 1-800-GAMBLER. In Puerto Rico, ASSMCA's PAS line answers 24 hours a day at 1-800-981-0023. Lottery games are for adults 18 and over (21 in some states).
Who's behind it
LottoHeat is made by one person in Puerto Rico who likes data. It isn't affiliated with any lottery, including Powerball, Mega Millions and the Puerto Rico Electronic Lottery, and it doesn't sell tickets. The site is supported by ads.
